First Response scheduled an inspection to start assessing and documenting all the damage. Once our project manager went over all the damages and created a game plan we were able to schedule initial extraction and a mold assessment. The project manager then helped initiate the call to the insurance company and helped put the customers mind at ease. This was a month long process between the insurance carrier, mold remediation and repairs.

First Response Restoration Project Manager, Rob, arrived at the home within 30 minutes and thoroughly inspected the damages. He clearly communicated the process with the homeowners and even assisted with filing an insurance claim. Our IICRC certified technicians cleaned and disinfected all the affected areas, setup protection and removed wet carpeting to ensure no mold growth was a concern. One dehumidifier, four air movers, and one air scrubber were installed to assist with the drying process.

First Response Project Manager, Rob, arrived at the property within 45 minutes and was able to assess the damage and go over the plan with the homeowner. These clients were elderly and couldn't handle all the stress this was bringing. Rob calmed the clients down as he explained the process and that they didn't have to do a thing! Our technicians did a thorough clean-up and removal of any unsalvageable building materials. We cleaned out the entire crawlspace and set drying equipment to ensure there was no mold growth.

Once the plan was established, two of our technicians were dispatched to start the clean-up. Our techs extracted and removed the carpet and tore out the affected walls and baseboards to reduce the risk of mold. After the area was fully cleaned and sanitized, we set up 8 fans, two dehumidifiers, and an air scrubber.
