The 2 on-call technicians were dispatched to this home soon after Rob arrived on the scene to assess the damage. Once the crew arrived, Rob explained the protocol to follow to ensure the damage from the water was minimal. The technicians set up drying equipment such as dehumidifiers and fans and flood cut the sheetrock which was saturated. Mold needs water, food and oxygen to grow. Wet sheetrock is considered food for mold so its removal is very important to halt mold growth.
