The frigid cold snap caused pipes to freeze in this Putnam Valley basement. The pipe thawed when the temperature finally warmed-up but the customer was still on vacation, completely unaware the water was pouring into their basement from the ruptured pipe.

Solutions provided:

The emergency water extraction crew was called in to extract the standing water from the basement. After the initial extraction, the crews set up fans and dehumidifiers to dry up the moisture to help deter the growth of mold. Our Project Manager Rob was able to help the customer file a claim with their insurance company.
