Job completed for Flooded Basement From Burst Water Heater in Briarcliff Manor, NY

Completion date: December 29, 2022

Location: Briarcliff Manor, NY

Why did the customer contact us?

The Client was referred to us by a friend of theirs that used our services when their toilet supply line leaked water into their walls. This client had an old water heater that leaked all over the unfinished basement causing water damage.

Solutions provided:

The Project Manager for First Response took moisture readings to get an idea of how far the water seeped into the walls. The scope of work was explained to the customer and their insurance company gave the go ahead to start the process of demolition. A temporary storage container was brought in so the crew could empty the contents of the basement. Once emptied, the damaged areas of the basement walls were cut out and fans and dehumidifiers installed to control the moisture in the air.
