Everyone needs a relaxing bath to undo the stresses of everyday life!! But if you started filling the tub and got distracted by a phone call from an old friend, broke open a bottle of wine, spent an hour or so chatting with your friend, it would be very stressful if that tub overflowed. While this homeowner was downstairs on the phone catching up with her old friend, the overflow from the tub was traveling to multiple levels of her home, through walls, ceilings and seeping into floors.

WATER WATER EVERYWHERE!!! This devastated homeowner called First Response once she realized what she had done. Our project manager Rob just sat down for lunch when he received the call from dispatch. Rob sprung into action-he skipped a very much needed meal to drive to New City to meet with this homeowner. Rob’s moisture meter was making all sorts of beeps as he documented the path the water took throughout the home. Rob determined multiple crews would be needed to keep the water damage to a minimum. One floor in the bathroom had to be demolished but it could have been much worse if First Response wasn’t available 24/7/365 for these devastating emergencies.
