Water damage can occur from problems with leaking sinks, toilets and damaged roofs. The supply line carrying water to the upstairs toilet was old and finally burst open from the water pressure. Many gallons of water poured from the second floor to the first causing a fair amount of damage to ceilings, cabinets and personal items.

Solutions provided:

Once the leak was fixed by the plumber and upon approval of the homeowner’s insurance company, the First Response crew was able to extract the water, set up drying equipment, and pack up affected personal belongings. Through the use of moisture readings, Rob our Project Manager was able to determine what areas were affected by the water leak so they could be removed to prevent further damage from mold growth.
