First Response received a call regarding a broken water pipe in the second floor bathroom which resulted in water damage to the kitchen walls, ceiling, counter and floors. After the Project Manager assessed the damaged areas, the crew arrived with their water mitigation tools and got to work to help prevent the water damage from spreading.

Solutions provided:

First Response Project Manager, Rob, was able to determine a plan with the customer and assisted them in calling their insurance carrier. The crew set up containment before removing the water damaged kitchen walls, ceiling, counter and floors. Once the saturated building materials were removed, dehumidifiers and fans were set up to dry the exposed walls and ceiling. Moisture readings were taken every few hours to ensure the humidity levels were improving through the use of the drying equipment. Within a few days, the water mitigation and remediation steps were complete and the customer was very happy with our services.
