Completion date: January 16, 2023

Location: Cos Cob, CT

Why did the customer contact us?

The pre-school director called First Response after she became aware of a faulty water supply which ruptured while the school was closed for the weekend. The water caused extensive damage to the ceiling tiles in the floor below.

Solutions provided:

Project Manager Rob went to the school to write up the protocol for the water remediation for the crew to follow. The crew arrived an hour later with the water extraction equipment, dehumidifiers and fans. Rob’s protocol called for flood cuts in the bathroom and the crew was easily able to make those cuts using their sawzalls. Damaged ceiling tiles were removed and discarded to prevent mold growth. The director was very happy with the response time of the crew and their professional attitudes.
