Completion date: January 20, 2023

Location: New Rochelle, NY

Why did the customer contact us?

This customer waited one day too long to replace their water heater. The old corroded water heater started leaking but when the customer went to shut off the cold water supply line, the valve broke off spewing water everywhere. The plumber stopped the water leak and First Response took care of the resulting mess.

Solutions provided:

Not only did this customer need a new water heater, they also needed their floors and walls removed due to the water damage. Rob the Project Manager mapped out the walls and ceilings to be removed by the crew. The vanity and the toilet were removed and flood cuts were performed in the bathroom. Containment curtains with zippers were set up to keep airborne debris from spreading throughout the home. The floor had to be removed because the water got underneath and warped the floor. The customer was grateful First Response responding so quickly.
