Mold is not always something you see or even smell. Mold needs food, water, oxygen and temperatures over 40 degrees in order to grow and multiply. Mold spores can make people mildly to severely sick. This customer was having respiratory issues when they decided to call us for a free estimate on mold removal.

Solutions provided:

Rob the Project Manager went to customers home to find out if they had mold growing in the home that might be affecting their breathing. Rob spotted an air conditioner wall insert in the bedroom. He lifted the carpet and padding and used his moisture reading tool to get the moisture amount. The reading came back 99.9% moist which is what mold likes. Rob could also see back fuzz under the carpeting and on the cement floor. Rob ended up having a separate mold testing company come in to preform a mold test. The test revealed a very virulent type of mold was living under the bedroom carpet. The crew removed the carpet and over time the customer slowly got better with her breathing.
