A late-night fire ripped through this customer’s home and resulted in major structural damage. After the fire department was finished with putting out the fire the home was left with water and fire damage throughout.

The customer called First Response as soon as they received their claim number from their insurance company. In this situation we were battling against 3 days of torrential rain, and it was crucial to get a tarp on the roof to protect the structure from additional water damage. Once the tarp was on we would be able to start evaluating the water damage and fire damage within the home. The First Response Project Manager Vinnie walked the customer through the process of remediating a fire damaged home. Multiple crews came in and began removing items that couldn’t be salvaged. Floors, ceilings, walls and insulation were removed due to water and smoke damage. When the crew finished, the customer was relieved that they could now begin the process of repairing their once beautiful home.
