No one wants a flood, but should it happen, it’s reassuring to know First Response exists.
We recently experienced a flood due to a broken pipe in an upstairs bathroom, whereby a twenty-minute-shower’s worth of water ran throughout the second floor, then rained down onto the first floor as well, basically flooding all of our main living spaces.
We contacted our insurance, and within minutes I received a call, then a visit, from Cole, the company’s owner. His high standards were evident at the outset and put me at ease knowing my house would be cared for and returned to its original condition. In addition to the urgency he showed in getting repairs started (the water was contained and fans arrived same day), I received frequent calls to make sure I was satisfied with the progress and the quality of the work being done. Rafael and his team, the group who performed the work necessary to contain and dry the damaged areas, consistently treated our house with the upmost of care. Rafael communicated with me directly via text regarding appointments/arrival times, which I appreciated because it allowed me to plan; he was also an all-around nice person to have working in your home. Our project manager Rob was also terrific and gave me tremendous confidence. He was present whenever I needed him to be (met with the insurance adjuster for me) and he was immediately responsive to the myriad questions I had along the way. I really cannot recommend this company--this group of people--highly enough. As I was originally promised, it was a 5-star experience! -
