We had a Fire in our basement which resulted in a significant amount of smoke and water damage throughout the entire house. Our heads were spinning on where to even begin. Luckily First Response Restoration was recommended to us through a friend who dealt with them previously. The owner Cole took the time to explain everything to us and was a tremendous help. They were able to setup meetings with the insurance company and get started. Within days approvals were granted and First Response was well on their way to cleanup the smoke damage!

Cole and his team were great through the whole process of our home clean up after our basement had flooded in a storm. They responded to our call right away on a holiday weekend and were there quickly. Very professional and highly recommended.

Cole and his staff showed up the morning of a sewage pipe breaking on the first floor of our home which ran down into our finished basement. What a mess! I didn’t know where to put my hands first! Cole came highly recommended by a close friend and from the moment he stepped in the door, I knew I was in the right hands! He and his team got to work immediately! They were extremely courteous and professional! They were here for several days, cleaning, disinfecting, demo’ing the damaged ceiling, walls and floors. Working continuously until the job was done. Cole had the appropriate testing done, they installed protective plastic walls, and machinery to dry and purify the air. After several days they came back, removed all the plastic walls, tubing and machinery. I don’t know what we would have done without them! I’m hoping I never need their services again, but if ever faced with this situation again, Cole and his team at First Response would be the one and only phone call I would make!

Vinnie the Project Manager on duty responded to the emergency call from the customer. Vinnie brought a crew along with the Extraction Truck to remove the standing water. Once the personal items were removed from the basement and moved outside, the crew then pulled up the flooring and cut the sheet rock which was soaked. The equipment was set up to pull moisture from the air to help dry the nooks and crannies within the basement and wall structure. The customer was pleased with the speedy response of the crew and appreciated the patience Vinnie exhibited while explaining the process of remediation.

Rob the Project Manager walked throughout the whole school with the head janitor to document the water damaged areas. Rob suggested mold testing based on some visible mold growth he saw. The crew was called in to remove molding to dry the inside of the walls with fans and heaters. Multiple pieces of equipment were placed throughout the school to dry the water and to remove the moisture as quickly as possible.

First Response dispatched an emergency cleanup team to start removing water and dry the basement. She wanted us to assist her with the insurance claim. One of our project managers arrived onsite to go over the plan with the homeowner. We were able to remove all the standing water and demo all water damaged materials to ensure there's no risk of mold. Once all the demo was complete we cleaned and applied anti microbial to the affected areas and set drying equipment.
